Attack of the ALB

This interactive timeline about the Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB) was created for Beetle Science, based exclusively on a presentation given by Cornell entomologist E. Richard Hoebeke (see Contributors).

Hoebeke delivered his timeline of relevant events and dates in December 2000 at a major meeting of entomologists in Montreal, Canada. He was the first to identify the ALB in the United States, originally discovered in 1996 in New York and again in 1998 in Chicago.
