Renovations to the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, completed in 1998, expanded the school by 100,000 feet. The new facility includes such high-tech features as distance learning and teleconferencing facilities, as well as a student lounge and new classrooms and computer labs.
The college also houses the Catherwood Library, a national resource on workplace issues that holds more than 200,000 books, journals, and pamphlets, as well as 4,000 serial and newspaper titles.
West on Tower Road, the steel-girded Uris Hall houses the psychology and sociology departments. Cornell Cinema uses the large auditorium on the ground floor for film screenings on evenings and weekends.
